Re: America and Russia~
"W-Well, anyway..." The Russian cleared his throat, twiddling his thumbs. "...H-How are things over there?" he asked, hoping to divert the subject.
Re: America and Russia~
"Oh, they're fine..." Matthew smiled. "What about over there? I'm sure it's much warmer than you're used to."
Re: America and Russia~
"Da, it is a lot warmer, but it is very nice! I love warm weather..." Ivan returned the smile, sitting back in his chair. "I always liked summer the best, and even then, it was rather cold, compared to most other places..."
Re: America and Russia~
"Yeah... it's like that here, too. I don't mind it, but... I always liked visiting Al during the summer and going swimming and having barbecues and stuff. It does get a little hot, but... it's nice every once in a while, I think."
Re: America and Russia~
"Ah, that would be a lot of fun! I would love to experience that, but...I'll probably either be staying at the school over summer, or heading back to Russia."
Re: America and Russia~
"Oh, I'm sure Alfred will want to drag you to all sorts of things, summer or not." Matthew rolled his eyes. "Don't worry about it."
Re: America and Russia~
Ivan blushed a little more at the thought of spending more time with Alfred, but he quickly shook his head. "W-Well, that's fine. I wouldn't mind..."
Re: America and Russia~
Matthew chuckled a little. "Well then, he's lucky to have a friend like you. Most people get tired of him pretty fast, I think..."
Re: America and Russia~
"...Huh?" Ivan blinked, genuinely confused. How could people get tired of his Fredka? Alfred was so kind, and funny, and smart! "Why?"
Re: America and Russia~
"I don't think Fredka is annoying at all! He's just..." he paused, his mouth hanging open a little bit, before he shut it, frowning. "...He's like a musician, making his music lovely. It is something he loves, so he is exited about things."
Re: America and Russia~
"Hmm... I suppose." Yep, Ivan was obviously smitten. It was kind of adorable, really. It made him happy for Alfred, knowing he'd found someone who liked him just as he was. And Al obviously liked him back... it was only a matter of time before they got together, Matthew was sure.
Re: America and Russia~
"So...I think it's cute! Not annoying! I like it when people aren't ashamed of what they love!" Ivan smiled warmly. "It shows they care!"
Re: America and Russia~
Ivan blinked, his cheeks flushing a light pink color. "Why do you think? I'm just being honest."
Re: America and Russia~
"Alfred likes honesty. And you're pretty cute. Not to mention you seem to pretty much dote on him... he must love all of the attention." He rolled his eyes.
Re: America and Russia~
His blush only increased with each word Matthew said. "I-I do not dote on him!"
Re: America and Russia~
"D-Doting is what lovers do, and we aren't lovers," he pouted, though he promptly looked down, covering his face with his fringe.
Re: America and Russia~
"I-! I am happy!" He glanced back up. "I'm just saying that...Fredka and I, we aren't like that."
Re: America and Russia~
"Not like what?" Alfred stepped into the room, towel wrapped around his waist.
Re: America and Russia~
Ivan blinked and glanced up at Alfred. "D-Der'mo…" he muttered, blushing a bright red and quickly looking away. "U-Um…it is nothing. M-Matvey and I were just talking…"
Re: America and Russia~
Matthew raised an eyebrow. Hadn't Alfred taken his pajamas into the bathroom with him...? So why... He rolled his eyes. Typical. What a showoff.
Alfred pouted slightly. "He didn't say anything bad about me, did he?"
"Oh, yeah..." Matthew grinned. "I told him all about the embarrassing things you used to do as a kid."
