America and Russia~
Classes were finally over for the day. Ivan yawned, rubbing his eyes as he reached into his pocket to pull out his key. He was actually very happy with himself! He hadn't been late to any of his classes, despite getting lost several times. He even made several new friends on his first day, and that made him really happy. He idly wondered, as he put the key into the lock, if Alfred was back from his classes yet. In any case, he couldn't wait to write home to his family, and possibly see Alfred's twin via... Skype? Did he say..? Ivan shrugged to himself, then opened the door to the shared room.
Re: America and Russia~
Alfred had come back to his dorm after classes to find that Ivan wasn't back yet, but that wasn't too much of a surprise given that he was new and still finding his way around. He did seem like the type to get distracted by the flower gardens and stuff around the school, too. Alfred switched on the light, closing the door behind him, and went to sit down at his computer, turning it on and finding that it had finally given in and decided that it would connect to the internet. That was good, he'd been a bit worried that he'd be stuck messing around with it all night and he wouldn't be able to hold up to his promise that he and Ivan would webcam with Mattie. Speaking of... he pulled out his phone and texted his brother, telling him they'd be on soon.
Re: America and Russia~
Ivan smiled when he saw Alfred was already in the room, sitting in the computer chair and on his laptop. "I'm home~!" he said, setting his books on the desk and nudging off his shoes with his toes. "Are you feeling better, Fredka? You don't appear flushed anymore." He pulled off his blazer, draping it over the desk chair, before he pulled off his scarf and sweater vest. He loosened his tie, then grabbed a few items from his bedside drawer, sitting down next to Alfred.
Re: America and Russia~
Alfred looked up, smiling as Ivan returned. He was about to greet him in return when Ivan reminded him of what had happened earlier. He pouted slightly. "I-I'm fine. Anyways, I just told Mattie we'll be on soon!" He turned back to the computer, pulling up Skype and typing in his password. "You're ready, right?"
Re: America and Russia~
"Da, I'm ready!" Ivan smiled, scooting his chair closer to Alfred and setting the items he grabbed-- a stack of parchment, a pencil, and a polaroid camera --to the side, as he didn't need them currently, not when he was about to see Matvey! "You brother is back home in... New York, da?"
Re: America and Russia~
"Well... no, actually. Dad is in New York." Alfred finished logging in and sat back, glancing over at Ivan. "Mattie lives in Canada with our mom."
Re: America and Russia~
"...Oh." Ivan frowned, suddenly feeling bad. "Your parents are separated?" He kinda felt like a jerk now; he knew the topic could be sensitive for some people, especially if siblings were involved and you didn't get to see them often.
Re: America and Russia~
Alfred smiled. "It's fine... they've been divorced for a while now. Mom left with Mattie when we were nine. It's better this way, really. All they did was fight... so everyone's happier this way."
Re: America and Russia~
"Da, but still... you must miss Matvey and your mom..." Ivan puffed out his cheeks a little, internally chastising himself. "You get to see them sometimes, da?"
Re: America and Russia~
"Yeah, for Christmas. We switch on and off between having it at Mom's and Dad's. And me and Mattie have Skype, remember? Speaking of..." He grinned as his computer told him that Mattie had signed on. "Here he is now!"
Re: America and Russia~
Ivan was about to argue that seeing your sibling in the flesh once a year was definitely not good enough, but he closed his mouth and smiled when Alfred said his brother was online. He scoot even closer to look at the computer screen, waiting patiently. "Will Matvey like me, do you think?"
Re: America and Russia~
"Of course he'll like you!" Alfred scooted his chair over a little to give Ivan more room in front of the computer screen, pulling up a chat with his brother and waiting the couple seconds it took for him to accept, his grin widening when a face nearly identical to his own appeared in front of them. "Mattie! Hey! What's up?"
Matthew smiled, much calmer than his brother. "Hi Al. And... ah, I'm sorry, what was your name again?"

Re: America and Russia~
Ivan smiled, thinking it was so cool to see seemingly another Alfred on the computer screen, though, he noticed Matthew had slightly longer hair than his brother. "I am Ivan Braginski. It is nice to see you, Matvey!"
Re: America and Russia~
"Ivan... it's nice to meet you." Matthew smiled warmly, then continued, "I'm sorry you're stuck living with my idiot brother."
Alfred pouted. "Hey!"
Alfred pouted. "Hey!"
Re: America and Russia~
"Nyet, not at all! Fredka is very kind and sweet. I like him a lot!" Ivan smiled back at Matthew. "He is being very helpful for me."
Re: America and Russia~
"Hmm, well, he gets annoying after a while. Trust me," Matthew said, still smiling.
Alfred whined. "Mattie, no fair! I'll disconnect you!"
"Alright, alright, calm down." Matthew rolled his eyes and sat back in his chair, mumbling, "I just thought he deserved a warning."

Re: America and Russia~
Ivan laughed a little. "Nyet, Fredka is very nice, and I don't think he is being annoying. You probably only think that because he is your brother, da?" The Russian smiled, leaning forward a little bit. "I am happy to have friends with Fredka."
Re: America and Russia~
"Ha! See?" Alfred grinned victoriously, leaning against Ivan and wrapping an arm around him. "He loves me!"
"Yes, yes, I'm sure you'll make great boyfriends."
"Yes, yes, I'm sure you'll make great boyfriends."
Re: America and Russia~
"H-Huh?!" Ivan jolted, a blush darkening his cheeks for what seemed like the billionth time that day. He blinked rapidly and stuttered, trying to get the words he wanted to say out. "N-Nyet, me and Fredka-- w-we are friends! Not b-boyfriends!" He seemed to only get more flustered as he said the word, though he did nothing to move out of Alfred's grasp. He did squirm quite a bit, though. "W-We only met today!"
Re: America and Russia~
Alfred brushed brightly as well, his grip around Ivan only tightening. "M-Mattie! Shut up!"
Matthew just snickered. Embarrassing Alfred never got old. "Oops. Silly me."

Re: America and Russia~
Ivan looked down at his lap, hoping his ducked head would hide his rapidly growing blush, and he gripped the fabric of his pants tightly. "I-I mean... Fredka is very nice and handsome, and you are too, but w-we are just friends. R-Right, Fredka?"
Re: America and Russia~
Alfred turned to stare at him, blinking. "H-huh? Wh... o-of course we are! W-we just met, and besides, you probably just like girls, so..."
Re: America and Russia~
"W-Well, d-da, I suppose..." Ivan looked up at Alfred, glancing at him briefly, before he turned to stare at the computer screen again. "S-So see, Matvey? F-Fredka and I are just friends..."
Re: America and Russia~
Matthew stared at them for a moment, eyebrows raised, before finally responding. "Right."
"A-anyways..." Alfred released Ivan to cross his arms, still blushing. "What's going on up there in Canada? Did you start school yet?"
"No... we start next week." Matthew let out a long sigh. "I'm not looking forward to it."

Re: America and Russia~
"O-Oh? Why not? Does Matvey not like school?" Oddly enough, Ivan felt a little strange, now that Alfred's arm wasn't around him, and he almost leaned up against the blond before he caught himself.
