"Umm... I think Old Rome disappeared because in that time everybody had the same chances to conquer any land and he never stop fighting and he just gave up... Too much for carrying on his hands... And, after fighting against Alfred, I understood we had to put limits to our ambitions, or that would lead to ruin. At first, Arthur disagreed with me, and many years later, he realized that was our best shot."

The Commonwealth was the proof of her words. Since most of its colonies became independent, they were both very weak. But, they were still here. And they were relieved that the members of the Commonwealth's continued support, despite everything.

"Louise, Louise, Louise..." Alice wasn't the most talkative either. But when she heard something funny, she had to prove it. "I'm still asking if France has a treat with Satan... We've fought one against the other for centuries and his/her army has always been a shame."

"You mean it got into the direction of insanity? After the things that we know about Alexander the great nowadays, it is possible. So I guess it's really not only about the strenght of a person, but also the mental stability... I could have thought of this by myelf, hn."

They also had colonies. Not only small ones, but also notables. Their influence was big too, with a bit more of luck, America would be a german speaking country right now. But that was just not the way, the faith decided to go. She wasn't believing in things like destiny, of course, but that wasn't stopping her from thinking about what could have been, if.

She started to shift in her seat, as Alice spoke like this about the third blonde nation, that was now connected to this conversation.

"Me too... You know, people are wrong when they call us archenemies - they say that about you and France too, or? - s/he isn't... Someone who can be even called an enemy. It's hard to explain but... You wouldn't call a scared puppy an enemy either, for example."

The coffee in her white mug started to show the first rings on the inside, where the liquid was just a second ago, and showed how much coffee there was before.
"By the way." She started again. "How late is it?"

"Yes... People have misconceptions about what we feel and what we do... I don't hate France. I dislike some of his/her habits, but it's all. We, like nations, have to respect and support our bosses until they leave us or the people take them out. That's our job. Sometimes sad - leaving aside the few friends we have -, sometimes stressful, but, we must do it. Our true feelings by the others are underestimated. Or that's I think..."

Being a nation was a hard work.

"Let me see..." She looked her watch. "We still have a couple of hours for shopping..." Then, she ask for the bill to her brother.

Well, that was a somewhat vague time statement.
"´A couple of hours´ means what exactly?"
She lifted the cup one last time to empty it with a last sip.

"I just wonder why these things always need to be so complicated... You can't really draw a clear line between both parts of these life."

Luise searched blindly in the pockets of her coat, and feeled for her purse.
She changed a bit of her money to sterling a few days ago, but just now she thought about, if she could even pay with so big money. She hadn't even spent another thought on that she may would need some coins.

"Hehe, sorry... I mean we have exactly between 4 and 4 and a half hours to go to shopping before the stores close. If you feel better, we can go right now to do that or leave your bags at my house first. I have no problem... Depends on you."

"Ah, it's alright... The coffein worked wonders, and I can leave my belongings in your car for now, or? At the other hand, we would first need to find a parking slot, somewhere at the city core..."

She laid her head in the back of her neck and shortly looked at the ceiling above them.

"Just do as you wish, I am only here as a guest, so the decision is yours."

"A street market?", she blinked.
The thing that she had in front of her inner eye was like a normal food market in her country, she never saw something like this with clothing or similar things.

"Hm." She made a approving sound.
"Sounds like a plan. Well, then let's not lose to much time. But first, we still need to pay..."

"OK..." Then she looked at her brother. "Will(ass)?" Although she thought her brother was an idiot, she would not be so rude towards the other girl. "Please, bring us the bill."

The redhead did it as "good" way because he knew the hard work his little sister was doing to show the lady she was.
"Your bill. Thanks for coming. Come back soon" His sarcasm was expected by Alice.
"How nice!" Two can dancing tango, git.

When he left them, Alice checked the bill. How cheap! I hope Louise has change. ((I would suggest not making a specific cost...))

She looked after Scotland, not sure why he wasn't waiting for them to pay.
"So... How much is it?" Luise asked while looked though the single openings in her purse, checking how much money she had with her right now, and in what form.

The female scratched her cheek.
"I hope they also take 50£ notes..."
A sweatdrop formed at her head at this, how could she have forgotten about such a obvious thing?

"That git... He won't charge us personally... Why can not he be a normal guy?" She knew he'd do something like that.

Checking her own purse, she had some change to pay.

"Louise, do you have ##.##£ or need change?

She looked trough her own, miliatary dotted purse for a last time, before replying.

"Uh, well..." she started, looking a bit disappointed.
"I don't have any coins with me at all. Nothing under a 50'"

"Oh? So they don't accept such big money here, huh..."
She looked in the direction the red haired man leaved.
"Then I have luck that you're here with me, otherwise that would've been really... Weird and uncomfortable. I mean, to first need to go and change it, so that I would need to leave without paying... Not that I wouldn't come back."

((Nah, don't worry. That's why you have at least two people in a RP >D"))

She nodedded in agreement.
It was really nice in a while to have company to be prepared to avoid any shemful situations - yes, it was at least a bit embarrassing for her, if she would have to explain that she would need to leave for a moment before paying the bill...

"Very well then. If we would decide not to, you would get in trouble later, so..."
She shifted in her seat and straightened the clothing of her coat that rested heavily on her lap, and wrapped around the upper part of her legs.

"I am ready to go. If you don't have to do any other business here..."
Luise looked over to the entrance, which also was used - logically - as the exit of the shop.

"No... Let's go..." She left the money over the table and walked out there.

They get in the car, when she recieved a message: "DAMN PIXIE, GIMME YOUR FRIEND'S NUMBER. SHE'S A BOMB, NOT LIKE YOU."

Her eyebrows began to shake. "Damn bastard!"

But she calmed down quickly and asked: "Well, Luise, what do you want to do first? Check the windows, or, ask for something special?"

They are already close to the parking lot.

She thought about the words of the other woman for a second.
"I would really like to look for some new pants, but that isn't an important matter at all, so the decision is yours."

She explained, not really able to think of something that would be really necessary right now for her existence or happiness that she could buy.

Her legs brought her fast to the car, unaware of her need to escape the cold weather they were in again.

Then, she parked in her reserved place.

"Well, I suggest check in some stores for your pants. Maybe you find something you really like. You could try on some..."

Alice was guessing Luise really didn't have time to "be a girl" in her "home". Alice wanted Luise's relax.

"Y-yes, I am sure we will find something fitting... But don't you want to look for something specific too?" she tilted her head and looked questioning at the other one.

Luise was a bit uncomfortable about the whole thing, it would end up looking like she only wanted to get something for England, not wanting to spend some time with her...

"Not really. I just will guide you to the stores that you could go."

Alice didn't want to carry Luise where she buys her own clothes... Her REAL style was the punk and she couldn't think Luise fits into it.

So she would lead to Louise to some stores that Alice went when she needed to buy something more "modest".

In other circumstances, she would accompany the Queen to go to the designer. Her only job was to be the chaperone of Queen Elizabeth II.

Arthur did not assign her any paperwork because: "The only official UK representative is me and I have to take care of personally signing important documents." He did her less for being simply the representative of the Thames.

((Somewhere, I read NyoUSA represents Greenpeace and Native American communities. So, I guess Alice can be somewhere representative of UK, like Thames or Stonehenge))

"Then let's get this done..."

She sighed, London was a huge city after all, and one of the fashion hotspots in Europe.
Maybe she should get something for her sister too, after all she could guess her size easily.
A bit tinier than her own, a bit less chest-size.

Not to speak of the loads of fancy clothing Julchen already owned.
But she would be surely happy to get some present again now and then.

Then, Alice had a little doubt.

"Um, Luise, do you only go to buy clothes for yourself or you buy to bring others too?"

Alice had in mind take her to "Browns" and "KJ's Laundry" ((GOD BLESS GOOGLE!!! F**K YEAH!!!))

"You mean... Group shopping, or whatever it is called...?"
She chewed on her lower lip for a second.
"Well, I once went out with Sakura, but she only wanted me to dress up in school uniforms and lolita dresses..."

The memory of this alone was embarassing in more than enough ways.
These two examples were still harmless, compared to other clothing she saw over there at Japans place. It also showed her, that her former ally took war crimes with more ease than she would have thought.*

((*I'm refering to the nazi chic in east asia, one of the most notable places with this being Japan *shot* I don't have infos of the recent state of this and the law that is connected to nationalsocialism over there, so if anyone who reads this feels offended, or if the infos show off to be completely wrong, I am sorry.))

"Well, I mean if someone gave a shopping list for you to do for that person here."
She realized Luise anxious.
Then, Luise tell her about her shopping experience with Sakura...
"Ok...? That was... creepy interesting..." She knew about Sakura's obsession for 'cute things' but she never saw her 'in action'.
