Francis and Matthew- <3

Francis had always lived a lavished life, and had always had what he wanted. He had grown up in a rich family, and never worried about where he would live, or what he would eat until now. He had blown all his money and found himself in a terrible situation. He lost everything. And now he was face with the choice of being homeless or living with a friend.

So that's what he did. He had asked many people, begging with tears in his eyes to let him live with them. His 'friend' Arthur.... stupid eyebrow bastard... had rejected him right off. He said that he didn't want someone who was sure to bring in women back in the middle of the night leaving with him. And that's how he ended up here. Knocking on the only person's door who would take him in. He knocked on the door of Matthew's house, his arms full of his possessions.

Matthew sat at his computer, working on the latest assignment that his boss had given him. He worked for a small but rapidly growing sports business as their accountant and web programmer. It was difficult sometimes dealing with his somewhat psychopathic boss, but it was worth it for the free tickets he got to the games of the various sports teams who used their products.

He'd just finished updating the checkout page for ordering online when he heard a knock at the door. Making sure to save his work first, Matthew got up, calling, "I'm coming!" He opened the door and had to work to keep from gaping in shock. "Francis?"

The Frenchman dropped his things, and threw his arms around the other almost breaking into a dramatic sob. "Oh Mathieu mon cher. Mathieu mon ami! The most horrific thing ever has happened, and I do not know what to do or where to go. I have lost everything, and I need somewhere to stay. I already asked that bastard Arthur, but he said no. Mon cher Mathieu, I have no where else to go. You have to let me stay with you."

Matthew squeaked slightly as Francis hugged him tightly. Since when had he been that strong? The last time he'd seen Francis had been shortly before he'd gone off to college. True, they'd kept in contact by phone and e-mail, but actually seeing the other man again... Then what he'd said registered in Matthew's mind.

"Wait, what do you mean you lost everything? Francis, what happened?"

"I-I don't really want to talk about it." He said quickly, his arms still wrapped around the other. "Can I just come in Matthew?"

Matthew sighed. He had a feeling he was going to regret this eventually... "Yeah, come on in."

He sighed in relief, kissing the other on the cheek, and then releasing him to grab his stuff. "Merci, Merci..." he repeated picking up his things and walking inside.

Matthew felt his cheeks burn slightly at the show of affection before he shut the door behind Francis. "I hope you don't mind sleeping on the couch for a night or two; it'll take me a bit to clean out the other room so that it'll be habitable."

As if ignoring what he really said he answers, "Non, non it's no problem. I don't mind sleeping in the same bed as you. But remember I sleep in the nude mon ami~." Somewhere in his mind he had switched couch, for sharing a bed. Somehow...

"A-ah? B-but I said that you'd be sleeping..." Matthew's bewildered query trailed off as he realized that though years may have passed since they'd last seen each other, Francis was still his same stubborn self with selective hearing. "Could I at least convince you somehow to wear some clothes?"

Ignores that last part, "Where can I put my stuff, Mathieu?" Walks around the place trying to see what Matthew has done these past years.

As Francis's selective hearing continued its run, Matthew replied, "For right now you can put it over there." He gestured towards a corner that was relatively empty.

"Ah, Merci~." Walks over and puts the stuff he has in the corner. Once he's done that he sits on the couch and starts sulking.

As he saw Francis's patented sulk make its return, Matthew sat down next to him. "So what exactly did happen? You said Arthur refused to help you; that was that one guy you were so keen on during high school, right?"

Scoffs, "You mean that bastard that I wasn't so keen on whatsoever?" He protested crossing his arms over his chest. He surely didn't want to talk about Arthur after he wouldn't even help him out. "Anyways... about what happened... m-maybe we should speak of this at a later time, non?" Truth was, Francis just didn't want to talk about what happened. Usually, he was fine with seeking pity from people spilling out whatever was going, but it was different this time.

"Could have fooled me with all the time you spent trying to seduce him," Matthew deadpanned. With a sympathetic pat to Francis's knee, he said, "All right, not right now, but eventually you're going to have to tell me you know."

"Mathieu.... It was simply horrible." he sniffed wrapping his arms around the other his eyes getting all watery.

And here come the dramatics, Matthew thought as he tried to place his hands so he wasn't groping Francis's knee.

"I-I don't know what to do Mathieu...I have no money or anything..."
Clutches to his shirt. Sniffles.

"You don't have a job or anything?" Matthew asked, avoiding the topic of just how Francis lost his money. He'd find out eventually, but he respected his friend's need for silence.

[Bonnefoylover]

"N-Non...." to tell the truth, Francis was rather embarrassed. Here he was older than Matthew, and yet Matthew seemed to be doing better then him. Francis on the other hand, had squandered his money on things, and his father kicked him out of the family business... Actually pretty much out of the family. And now he had nothing. But there was no way he would tell Matthew. He didn't want him to see just how much of a failure he was.

Matthew sighed. "Well, that should probably be your first order of business. I can let you stay here for a while, but I've got a project I'm working on so I'll be kinda busy for a couple weeks."

"Will you help me find one?" he asked looking at the other sadly, pouting a bit. The only job he'd ever had, was working with his father managing the family business. Plud he had gone to college for business... but that was it...

"Sure," he nodded, smiling a bit. "What are friends for?"

"Merci, Matthew..." he said for the thousandth time already. Stands up, stretching. "I'm hungry how about you~? I came here straight from Arthur's without eating lunch, and I would never eat anything he'd make.."
